Great to meet you!

As a therapist, my goal is to provide you with practical tools and meaningful strategies that empower you to heal and move forward with confidence and independence. Together, we will explore the root of your challenges, bringing clarity and insight while restoring a sense of equilibrium within yourself and your relationships.

I am a licensed therapist with a strong background in trauma-informed care, specializing in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have received advanced training in EMDR and integrate evidence-based practices to support clients in processing and healing from past wounds. My professional experience includes working with diverse populations across various settings, supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and family dynamics.

I am deeply passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families to navigate and resolve relational conflicts. I strive to create a supportive and compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and guided toward lasting change.

I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, rebuild balance, and create meaningful change in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, holistic, and tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence-based modalities to best support your needs. One of the primary approaches I incorporate is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). As a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant, I specialize in helping clients gently process and heal from past wounds in a safe and supportive environment, always at a pace that feels right for you. This approach allows us to address the root of distress while honoring your readiness, fostering a sense of safety, and supporting lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. I believe that therapy is most effective when there is a good connection and sense of trust, so this initial meeting is just as much about you getting a feel for me as it is about me understanding you.

During this session, I will take time to learn about your story—your experiences, values, and what brings you to therapy. I am especially interested in understanding who you are as a whole person, including your cultural background, ethnicity, family dynamics, and any spiritual or personal beliefs that are important to you. These aspects of your identity matter deeply and help guide how we tailor therapy to best support you.

We will also explore your goals for therapy, any current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process. I will share how I work, answer any questions you may have, and begin discussing possible approaches that align with your needs—including, if appropriate, EMDR and other evidence-based interventions.

Most importantly, this is a space where you can feel safe, heard, and respected. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we move at your pace. By the end of the session, we will have a clearer sense of whether we are a good fit and how we can move forward together in a way that feels supportive and meaningful for you.
