Great to meet you!

Hello! I look forward to supporting you on your journey into psychotherapy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in New York, with an MSW from the University of Southern California. I'm trained in EMDR Therapy, with full certification expected in 2026, and I've spent my career working in community mental health and large private group practices.

I see adults of all ages, with particular experience supporting women in perimenopause, LGBTQ+ clients, and professionals. My clinical specialty is trauma: complex trauma, relational trauma, birth trauma, and trauma across the spectrum. I also work with clients navigating anxiety, panic, phobias, depression, stress-related concerns, and identity issues. This work matters deeply to me. Helping people heal from psychological wounds and reclaim their sense of self is what drew me to the field, and it's what keeps me in it.

When I'm not working, you can usually find me reading, baking, or spending time with my dogs.

My approach to therapy

EMDR Therapy is my primary treatment modality, and I integrate it with other approaches based on what each client needs most. Depending on the moment and the goal, our work together might include CBT, mindfulness, somatic interventions, parts work, strengths-based therapy, and other supportive psychotherapy methods.

I bring warmth, compassion, knowledge, creativity, flexibility, and some humor into our sessions, and I work hard to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect me to lead with curiosity and warmth as I get to know you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to gain from our work together, and how I can best support you. There's no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. First sessions are really about getting acquainted and beginning to map out where we'll go from here.
