Veronica Scott

My degrees from University of Central Florida include a Bachelors in Psychology, with Honors in the Major (I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2001), a Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology, and a Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Counseling (2003). I am dually licensed in the State of Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My private practice has been open since 2006 in Palm Coast and my clinical experience began in 2002.

Life can present us with unexpected situations, that throw our world into chaos. We may have to make changes or learn how to cope in a new way that allows us to feel successful. We also go through internal changes that affect the way we feel or think about life even when nothing round us has changed. When these things happen, talking about the situation can yield new understanding about our behaviors and needs.

Therapy can lead us to feel better able to navigate the waters of life.

I can be direct to challenge you to look deeper, or to assess your willingness to change or to accept your situation. I may share personal experiences to help you gain insight. I use my training, experience, and sometimes even a little humor, to help you reach your goals. I want to help you look forward, with confidence, in your ability to be your best self.
