I have always had a passion for encouraging adolescents and young adults to explore their obstacles and rediscover their strengths during the most pivotal and challenging stages of life. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space where you can explore emotions, navigate identity, build resilience, and develop tools necessary for lasting mental wellness.
I hold a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas, and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston – Victoria. I have over 10 years of counseling experience helping persons with physical, mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities achieve personal, career, and independent living goals through counseling and emotional support.
I am here to walk alongside you on your journey, helping you find meaning, strength, and hope in your own story. This is not just my profession; it is my purpose.
Whether working through trauma, managing symptoms of anxiety or depression, or addressing issues such as self esteem, relationships, and stress, my approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices. I take a collaborative strengths based approach, and integrate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution focused therapy, and trauma informed care.
My goal is to help every client feel seen, heard, and equipped to move forward with greater self-awareness and confidence.
