Great to meet you!

Life is complicated, and sometimes the strategies that helped you survive are the very things that leave you feeling stuck. Whether you're carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, grief, perfectionism, relationship struggles, or a major life transition, therapy can be a place to finally put some of that weight down.

I am passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences, reconnect with themselves, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. I believe healing happens when we create space for curiosity instead of criticism, self-compassion instead of shame, and growth instead of simply getting by.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and genuine. I don't believe you need to have all the answers before starting therapy. Together, we'll explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck while building on the strengths that have carried you this far.

You are more than the hardest thing you've been through. Change is possible, healing is possible, and you don't have to navigate it alone. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm honored to walk alongside you as you discover what comes next.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a partnership. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to help you better understand yourself, heal from painful experiences, and reconnect with the strengths that already exist within you.

My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and draws from EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based therapy, somatic techniques, and neuroscience. I enjoy helping clients understand how their nervous system, brain, emotions, and life experiences work together to shape the way they think, feel, and respond to the world around them.

I have specialized training in trauma, depression, grief and loss, maternal mental health, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), hospice and end-of-life care, identity exploration, and supporting survivors of domestic and intimate partner violence. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, identity concerns, major life changes, perinatal challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, we'll work together to help you feel more connected, empowered, and confident in your ability to move forward.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and exploring what has brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and any challenges you've been experiencing so I can gain a better understanding of your unique experiences and needs.

Together, we'll discuss your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve. My approach is collaborative, and I believe therapy should move at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive for you. Throughout the session, I'll share observations and feedback when appropriate, answer any questions you may have, and work with you to create a plan that aligns with your goals and values.

Most importantly, the first session is an opportunity for you to determine whether I feel like a good fit for your therapeutic journey.
