Great to meet you!

Are you looking for a healthier work-life balance?

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has maintained a social work license since 1999. I earned my master’s degree in social work from Marywood University in the same year, laying the foundation for a career dedicated to helping others.

My therapy style incorporates a variety of evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. By blending these modalities, I can tailor an approach to meet your unique needs.

My primary focus is working with adolescents and adults who face challenges such as depression, anxiety, phase-of-life transitions, couple’s issues, and emotional dependency. I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples in utilizing their strengths to build healthy relationships and fulfilling lives.

I have extensive experience addressing military lifestyle issues, family dynamics, crisis services, work-related stress, and supporting at-risk youth as well as adults dealing with depression and anxiety. I have been a resident of the Tidewater area for 14 years, which has strengthened my bond with the local community.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy fishing, engaging in the arts, attending sporting events, serving in my local church, and spending quality time with my family and pets. I believe that by empowering people to explore their goals and strengths, remarkable transformations are possible. I am committed to helping you fulfill your life’s purpose, pursue your dreams and support you throughout this process of healing and personal development.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that every individual possesses inherent strengths that can facilitate personal growth and help address life's challenges. I am committed to offering a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their strengths, emotions, and thoughts as they navigate current difficulties.

What you can expect from me

As a team, we will assess your current challenges and create a structured plan to meet your objectives by recognizing our strengths, leveraging available supports, and implementing practical strategies tailored to your unique needs.
