Great to meet you!

Over the past decade, I've worked with children, couples, families, and adults as they've navigated challenges like depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and major life transitions. I enjoy helping clients identify and work with the values that are most important to them. In particular, I've spent several years working with cancer patients, from diagnosis to later life.

My approach to therapy

I employ a client-centered approach, where we work to define the goals and progress that are most meaningful to you. I lean heavily on ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment theory.

What you can expect from me

Finding a good fit is key. The first session allows me to get to know you a bit, and hear what you most hope to gain from therapy. Most often, we're able to set at least one major goal for therapy and perhaps leave with some tools to try before the next session.

If you don't feel I'm a good fit, I encourage you to keep exploring. I think patients often know quickly when they've found a therapist who's right for them.
