Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Veronica Vaughn, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adults who experience anxiety, chronic stress, overthinking, self-doubt, and difficulty managing life’s demands. I also work with people dealing with the longer-term effects of past traumatic experiences and PTSD. My goal is to help you better understand what is happening, identify what may be keeping you in the same patterns, and find practical ways to respond differently.

My approach to therapy

My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. We may look at the connection between your thoughts, emotions, stress responses, relationships, and choices, then work together on what could help. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing, DBT skills, strengths-based strategies, and trauma-focused approaches when they fit your needs.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be engaged, supportive, and honest. I am not a therapist who simply listens and nods. I ask questions, help you slow things down, notice patterns, think through what is actually happening, and consider your next step. Our work may include reflection, practical strategies, and skills you can use outside of session so that you can handle challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
