Great to meet you!

I offer both in person therapy to those near Paso Robles and remote therapy to residents of California and Florida. While I work with individuals from all walks of life, I have specialized in holding hope for those going through hard times, major life changes, or recovering from trauma or PTSD. I believe that distress is a driving force, not an obstacle, and anxiety can inform us in important ways. Areas I’ve taken a special interest in include: the treatment of trauma and stress in military and first-responder populations, the “nodal point” of anxiety, psychedelic-assisted therapy and telehealth.

A lot about me in three short sentences: I love animals. I (am lucky to) have deep conversations with many wonderful people. And — I read a lot of books!

I am a first-generation immigrant from the Czech Republic and I often work with individuals who find themselves in various stages of transition. My husband is a Marine Corps veteran, and supporting military mental health (including veterans, spouses, and kids) is important to me. After traveling for a big part of our lives, we now live on a ranch on the Central Coast of California.

My approach to therapy

Many of my clients have never been in therapy before, and most arrive feeling overwhelmed or stuck. I’ve been in your shoes and I can help! Reaching out is the best first step towards a better life.

Clinical work is the heart and soul of my practice. I work in private practice and with Bahia Health in San Diego, supporting the military population. I am also on the Teaching Faculty at the Wright Institute in Los Angeles (WILA) and a Clinical Research Psychologist supporting the research activities of Dr. Kate Chard with the CERV Foundation.

What you can expect from me

I can do 15 min free consultations or a session. Please reach out through my calendar to book a time and day that works best for you.
