Dr. Verretta Moore

As a Doctor of nursing Practice, Board Certified Psychiatric & Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, I believe in the importance of making mental health a priority. My great passion is to practice holistically and bring light to and stamp out the stigmas surrounding mental health. I have 25 years of experience in the field of nursing and over 9 years of experience practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. My educational background includes Doctorate in Nursing from Aspen University in Phoenix, AZ, Bachelor’s in nursing from University of West Georgia, a Master of Science in Nursing from South University, Savannah, GA and a post master’s certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from George Washington University, Washington, DC, I am board certified in Family Health and Psychiatric & Mental Health Across the Life Span.

My approach to treatment is individualized, holistic, evidence-based, and collaborative. My focus is treating mental health conditions of those trying to navigate life challenges and help alleviate the struggles related to their symptoms .

My overall goal is to help meet the demands of mental health care and help treat mental health symptoms and disorders to help promote better health and well-being. This is done by assuring individuals have a welcoming environment that will allow them to share without feeling they will be judged. I will listen and together we will identify their needs and help set realistic goals to achieve a more stable mental well-being.
