Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia with eleven years of experience supporting adults navigating relational stress, anxiety, depression, grief, identity exploration, and the effects of trauma. I offer a collaborative, supportive approach, partnering with clients to clarify goals and develop personalized treatment plans that foster meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me begins with slowing down and truly getting to know you—your challenges, goals, and what you’re hoping for from therapy. I see therapy as a collaborative process, where we work together to create a thoughtful, individualized plan that feels aligned with your needs and at a pace that feels right for you. You are an active partner in shaping the work we do, and your voice remains central throughout the process.

My approach integrates humanistic values with trauma‐informed care, reflecting my belief that individuals are fundamentally driven toward growth, resilience, and the search for meaning, even amid distress. Using evidence‐based approaches, we explore the patterns that guide your thinking, feelings, and actions—approaching them with curiosity about how they formed, how they may have supported you in the past, and how they are adapting as your circumstances change. Together, we develop practical tools you can apply beyond the therapy space to manage stress, foster meaningful change, and strengthen your sense of self.

Above all, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood—a place where you can explore without fear of judgment and move toward the life you want to build. Empathy and compassion are the foundation of our work together. I will be there to listen, support, and validate your experience, while also offering thoughtful challenge and gentle direction when it serves your growth. Therapy can be both supportive and transformative, and I aim to hold space for both.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my focus is on getting to know you, answering any questions you have about therapy, and clarifying your goals for our work together.
