Great to meet you!
Vickee is a Licensed Professional Counselor and life coach with more than 35 years of experience in behavioral health. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed care, with specialties in depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and relationship challenges. She has a particular passion for supporting women in recovery from narcissistic abuse, guiding them through the complex emotional, psychological, and spiritual wounds that often result from these relationships.
As both a trained clinician and a survivor, Vickee brings a rare combination of professional expertise and personal insight. This allows her to create a safe, affirming space where clients can process emotional pain, reduce symptoms, and begin the journey of rebuilding self-trust. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with psychoeducation, practical tools, and compassionate guidance.
Recognizing the unique challenges women of color face—especially in today’s social and political climate—Vickee offers culturally responsive care that validates lived experiences while dismantling stigma and nurturing resilience. She also honors the role of faith in healing, providing space for clients to process spiritual struggles and reconnect with their sense of purpose.
Her commitment is to empower individuals to reclaim their lives, restore their voice, and cultivate hope. Clients often leave her sessions with renewed strength and clarity, even before their circumstances change—ready to take one step at a time toward lasting emotional well-being.
