Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and 15 years experience working in the mental health field in both leadership and clinical roles. My experience working with adolescents and adults of all ages has given me a broad understanding of how complex and acute trauma can influence how we perceive ourselves and experience the world around us. I am passionate about helping clients explore and process relational conflict, traumatic events, attachment wounds, life transitions, anxiety/depression, grief/bereavement and issues related to shame and self-worth. Therapy can be a challenging endeavor, but discovering who you are at your core is a deeply transformative and rewarding experience.

My approach to therapy

I offer a depth-oriented, trauma-informed, holistic approach to psychotherapy to help clients reconnect with their truth and authenticity. This integrative approach recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit and the importance of addressing the whole person to facilitate personal growth and deep healing. I incorporate mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, somatic techniques, parts-oriented approaches, attachment theory, and EMDR depending upon your individual needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

We will explore experiences, relationships, beliefs, and emotional patterns that may be contributing to your current circumstances/symptoms and identify goals and action steps to implement change.

Specifically, we will work toward:

Understanding the root of recurring emotional and relationship patterns

Developing greater awareness of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and bodily sensations

Increasing emotional regulation skills to remain grounded during difficult experiences

Processing unresolved trauma and grief at pace that feels safe and manageable

Identifying and modifying beliefs or coping strategies that are no longer beneficial

Developing healthier boundaries and more secure relationships

Increasing self-compassion and a stronger sense of identity and personal agency

It is important to remember that therapy is not simply identifying what is wrong, rather it is discovering what is right within you. My goal is to help you recognize your inherent worth and reconnect with your strengths and talents so that you can move forward with a stronger sense of clarity and confidence in your life.
