Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University, where I graduated in 2024. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem concerns, and significant life transitions.

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns that may be impacting your well-being, and develop the tools and confidence needed to create meaningful change. I work collaboratively with each client and tailor treatment to their individual needs, experiences, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based. I specialize in trauma-focused and somatic approaches and incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), mindfulness, and body-based techniques into treatment when appropriate.

I view you as the expert on your own experiences, and I work alongside you to identify what is most important to address. Together, we may explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and physical sensations while developing healthier coping strategies and patterns. I aim to create a supportive environment where you can work through difficult experiences at your own pace, build resilience and self-esteem, establish healthy boundaries, and develop a stronger connection with yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant experiences, strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment.

You can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you are encouraged to share as much or as little as feels comfortable. We will work together to identify initial goals and develop a treatment approach that feels appropriate for you. My priority is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.
