Great to meet you!

You've taken the first, maybe the most challenging, step toward seeking support: reaching out. I am here to help and support you as you work toward change and achieving your goals. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with trauma, life transitions/stress, addiction, and grief with an emphasis on personal relationships across these areas. I work with you so that we can, together, learn and understand the inner-workings of your patterns and struggles, allowing us to take actionable steps toward changing what you would like to see changed. Authenticity is important to me, and I hope to create a safe space where you can show up as freely and as authentic as possible while we work together. If this resonates with you, I am here when you are ready to begin.

My approach to therapy

I am here to meet you where you are at, and what I provide in the moment will vary based on what it is you need.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is the foundation for most of my work to help you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and belief systems allowing you to feel more in control of yourself.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is another type of treatment I provide, should that be what you need, to help you work through underlying negative belief systems from traumatic or major life experiences that leave you stuck in fight or flight mode; with EMDR we can get you free from these patterns and symptoms so that you may begin to feel more like yourself.

Narrative Therapy is an additional approach I include throughout my work. Not only do we identify the belief systems at play and increase your awareness, we also pay attention to the stories you tell yourself that reinforce old patterns and habits. I help you take control of the narrative and rewrite the stories you have been telling yourself.

These are my three main approaches to therapy, and I also sprinkle in mindfulness work, strengths-based work, and self-compassion work to aid us throughout our work together. Because relationships are a large part of our lives, I also incorporate components from Attachment Theory and Interpersonal Therapy to help you strengthen your relationships and support systems.

What you can expect from me

While providing a welcoming and affirming space, I also want to make sure you achieve your goals. I will meet you where you are at and can also provide direction. I am open to adjust based on what your needs are while also keeping the larger goal in mind. I would love to begin working with you and help you take steps toward your goals.
