Great to meet you!

Hi! Thank you for considering me to be a part of your healing journey! With a Master of Social Work (MSW) from West Virginia University (WVU) please don't hold that against me! I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to sessions. Vicki is licensed with the West Virginia Social Work Board as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, (LICSW) and in Ohio as Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). I have over 15 years in the helping field. I specialize in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has extensive experience in addressing domestic violence, anxiety, OCD, life stressors, ADHD, grief, and trauma. I see the whole person not the symptoms.

My approach to therapy

Vicki believes in a holistic approach to therapy, focusing on the unique needs of each individual. The goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth. My stance is healing is not linear.

What you can expect from me

Focus is on you! You know yourself better than anyone. I am here to learn about you. Building a strong rapport is necessary for the therapeutic alliance. It's a team effort! First time can cause some distress; I will try to make it as relaxing and reassuring as possible. We will discuss what's important to you and what do you want to get from therapy.
