Great to meet you!

Mental Health Counseling

I provide compassionate, client-centered mental health counseling to individuals seeking support, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change. My approach is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and comfortable exploring their concerns.

I believe that effective counseling begins with a strong therapeutic relationship.

My goal is to help clients develop greater insight, build healthy coping skills, strengthen their relationships, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

I have extensive experience in working with children of all ages and their caregivers to address challenging behaviors or trauma-related issues.

I work with adults to address areas of distress in their lives and use a solution-focused approach to build on the skills you already have so you can become your best advocate. Services can include trauma recovery, addictions, stress, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, mood disorders, and many other possibilities, including pervasive severe mental health needs.

I have collaborated with the Department of Child Services, Courts, schools, law enforcement, and community organizations in 12 Indiana counties to achieve positive outcomes.

I use multiple options for treatment that can include traditional narrative approaches, CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, and many other options as a way to engage and reach you at any stage of healing. I believe in transparency, collaboration, and client-driven approaches, and look forward to working with you to achieve the outcomes you desire.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a client-centered focus. I take a strengths-based, empowering approach in all areas. I believe in fair, honest feedback and want to help people recognize maladaptive behaviors and make positive changes.
