I have experience in a wide variety of settings and populations. I earned a MS in Psychology from University of Central Missouri and a MA in Professional Counseling from Amridge University in Montgomery, AL. My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated and willing to engage. I am EMDR trained but will use the therapy model that works best for the client.
I am a candid, bottom line, up front person. I'm not known for being politically correct but I will always give you the respect that you deserve. I believe that most people intuitively "know" what they want different in their life. My role is to help them achieve that growth.
The first session is about getting to know you and the challenges you are dealing with. We will identify what success in counseling would look like for you and determine the best path forward.
