My therapeutic approach is integrative, collaborative, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual client. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through CBT, clients can identify unhealthy thought patterns, improve emotional regulation, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful behavioral change that supports overall mental wellness.
I also incorporate Person-Centered Therapy, which emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard within the therapeutic relationship. I believe each individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and self-discovery, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
In addition, I integrate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills. I also utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as part of a trauma-informed approach to help clients process traumatic experiences, distressing memories, and negative beliefs in a safe and structured manner.
I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, which is why I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their personal goals, strengths, and needs. My overall approach is grounded in compassion, trust, and authenticity, with the goal of helping clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and move toward lasting growth and healing.
