Victor is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two decades in the field of psychiatric/behavioral health. He obtained his advanced practice degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Prior to this, he worked as an inpatient psychiatric nurse for over 12 years at University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) in Baltimore Maryland, and provided care in Child/Adolescent unit, Adult Psychiatric unit, and Geropsychiatric units.
Victor Amobi has a combination of strong nursing skills and the provision of quality client care. He is able to utilize and apply his advanced practice and clinically acquired skills to deliver patient centered and culturally sensitive care in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Initial psychiatric evaluations (First appointment. Sessions can go between 45-60minutes)
Medication management. Follow up appointments. Sessions range from 20-30minutes.
