Great to meet you!

Being vulnerable and allowing yourself to seek support when needed is a sign of strength. Together in therapy, we can continue to build on the strength and help create a life worth living. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialization in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and training in different therapeutic modalities. I have had the experience and the privilege of working with children, families, and adults in all stages of life in both outpatient and inpatient settings who are having mental health challenges with everyday stressors, life/stage transitions, mental illness, and terminal illness.

My approach to therapy

My work as a therapist is rooted in a cultural, person-in-environment lens and a strong belief in each individual’s right to self-determination. I recognize that your experiences are shaped by both personal and broader social factors, and I strive to honor that complexity in our work together.

My goal is to support you in understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and making choices that feel aligned with your values. Let us work together on your journey and create a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and truly worth living.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, we will explore and identify your current mental health challenges, as well as your goals—where you would like your life to be in a month, six months, or a year from now. This helps us begin creating a clear and personalized direction for our work together.

We will also discuss treatment options and approaches that can support you in reaching those goals. My aim is to ensure you feel informed, involved, and comfortable with the process from the very beginning. You will leave the session with a clear understanding of the treatment plan and session structure, and you’ll always be encouraged to share feedback so we can continue shaping therapy in a way that works best for you.
