Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes that everyone deserves a safe and supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted. I earned my Master of Social Work from Valdosta State University and have experience working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences.

I especially enjoy working with adolescents, teens, and young adults as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, relationships, and major life transitions.

Outside of being a therapist, I’m a wife and a proud fur mom to two babies! When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family, cooking, and gardening. I believe these simple things—connecting with the people we love, creating a comforting home, and making time for the things that bring us joy—are an important part of our overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I want to meet you where you are and work alongside you rather than simply tell you what you should do.

I use evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed techniques, while tailoring therapy to each person’s individual needs, experiences, and goals. I believe that you know yourself best, and my role is to help you better understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences while developing healthy and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Most importantly, I want our work together to feel like a partnership built on trust, honesty, and compassion.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable, trusting therapeutic relationship. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to get out of our work together.

You can expect a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can share at your own pace. I won’t expect you to have everything figured out before you walk through the door. Together, we’ll identify your goals and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.

My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and encouraged that you don’t have to navigate everything alone.
