Great to meet you!

Hello!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eighteen years of experience supporting individuals through challenging times. My clinical practice is shaped by a diverse background in teaching, mental health counseling, community-based social work, domestic violence consulting, and family case planning within the Family Treatment Rehabilitation program. Throughout my career, I have worked with at-risk children and adolescents, parents, families affected by mental health issues, survivors of intimate partner violence, and the geriatric population. I love working with a wide range of groups, and I find it especially rewarding to focus on empowering my clients.

To maintain personal balance and stay inspired outside of my career, I fill my free time with nature walks, travel, cultural events, and my morning yoga routine.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in person-centered principles, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy. I also incorporate mindfulness, Ericksonian hypnosis, and NLP practices to help you access your natural resources for healing and self-discovery - whenever you feel ready for it. My expertise includes areas such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, grief, loss, life transitions, stress management, and relationship issues.

Because every individual is unique, I tailor my clinical approach to match your personal goals and specific needs. My practice is built on a warm, collaborative style, because I believe you are the expert on your own life. We work together as a team. We will focus on your unique strengths rather than just your struggles. By using a solution based framework, we look at where you want to go and build a practical, step-by-step roadmap to get you there. I am here to provide the structure and support, but you are always the one in control of the pace.

What you can expect from me

We will gently explore what brought you to therapy and what you want to be different a year from now. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where your experiences are validated, and together we will co-create a treatment plan aligned with your goals and strengths.

I look forward to the opportunity to connect and support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
