Hi! My name is Tori Dykstra, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 6 years of experience. I understand us all to be unique expressions of life, each of us with basic human needs and a right to have them met. As a queer person, I am passionate about offering a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to access mental health care.
I treat adults and adolescents, and work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as those related to gender expansiveness.
As we live, it's normal to get lost, to become overwhelmed, to feel uncertain. This doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong, or that you've failed. These are moments inviting you to gently pause, take inventory, and create what is needed in your life. I offer EMDR Therapy to help facilitate exploration and healing in the inner world.
