Great to meet you!

With over 23 years in behavioral health and human services, I have a passion and love for helping others learn more about themselves and apply it to their daily lives. With a background in teaching, I can help you better understand thoughts and apply a healthier mindset going forward. I am here for a listening ear, and warm heart and empathy. My dream is to provide counsel and guidance to individuals, families, or couples; who are dealing with issues that affect them physically, emotionally and mentally.

If you have ever wanted someone to be there for you, chose me for your personal approach to the world of counseling.

My approach to therapy

My work pulls from CBT, emotionally focused therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing — but honestly, the approach I'm most known for is listening differently. I pay attention to the thought patterns people don't even realize they're carrying, the beliefs that sound like facts, and the stories someone's been telling themselves since childhood. When it fits, I incorporate faith into the work. I'm Christian myself, and I understand what it means to bring that part of your life into the room. Nothing is off-limits — I've worked with infidelity, OCD, body image, pregnancy loss, and everything in between. I'm direct without being harsh, and I will absolutely challenge you when it's time.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a two-way conversation — I'm learning about you, and you're deciding if I'm the right fit. You don't have to come in with a neat summary of what's wrong. We'll talk about what's been going on, what's tried and hasn't worked, and what you actually want your life to feel like. I'll ask real questions and give you an honest sense of how I work. You'll leave with a clearer picture of what therapy with me looks like — and most people leave feeling lighter just from being heard without judgment. I start sessions at morning and evening hours to accommodate work schedules. Book a free 15-minute call first if you'd like to feel it out before committing.
