Great to meet you!

Hello! Welcome and thank you for stopping by! My name is Vickie and I have been a practicing therapist (LPC) for over 10 years. I graduated with my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from TCNJ, am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and also have my certification in school counseling. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Psychology and Disability Studies. In the past, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings such as inpatient, crisis, outpatient, school and in-home. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression, anger management, and self-esteem. My treatment areas include disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and caretaker fatigue.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy, as everyone is different. I focus on the goals and needs of my client, and then create a tailored approach that is unique to that client. I tend to utilize humor when appropriate, enjoy taking creative and artistic approaches to therapy, and utilize CBT and person-centered modalities.

What you can expect from our first session

I strive to create a welcoming, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment. Every individual is unique in their life experience and story, and my goal is to leave an individual feeling empowered at the end of each session.
