Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Victoria Freeman. I’m really glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, and I work with young adults, adults, and families who are tired of holding everything together. Many of the people I see are living with anxiety, depression, grief or loss, low self-worth, emotional burnout, or a quiet sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves somewhere along the way.

If you’re used to being the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going no matter what—therapy here is a place where you don’t have to do that.

With me, you don’t have to perform. You don’t have to explain everything perfectly. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay.

You can cry. You can sit in silence. You can struggle to find words. You can just be. There is no judgment here, only honesty, patience, and room to breathe.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I care deeply about creating a space where you feel respected, seen, and treated as a whole human being, not a diagnosis.

I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, but I use these tools in a grounded, human way. That means we talk about real life—your thoughts, your emotions, your relationships, your stress, and we work together to find practical ways to cope while also tending to the deeper emotional layers underneath.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, we slow things down. We pay attention to what your body and emotions have been carrying, often for a long time. Many clients come in feeling overwhelmed, numb, emotionally flooded, or disconnected—and unsure where to even begin.

Sometimes our sessions involve tears. Sometimes they involve long pauses. Sometimes it’s simply naming the heaviness out loud for the first time.

My role is to meet you exactly where you are, without pressure to “fix” anything right away. We focus on helping you feel safer inside yourself, gently unpack what’s been buried, and begin reconnecting with parts of you that may have gone quiet just to survive.

Progress here doesn’t mean rushing toward positivity. It looks like:

  • understanding your emotional patterns
  • learning how to respond to stress instead of pushing through it
  • building self-compassion where there’s been shame or self-criticism
  • making small, steady changes that feel sustainable, not forced

We move at your pace. Always.

I’m likely a good fit for you if:

  • You’re a parent who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself
  • You’ve been “pushing through” for a long time, but it’s starting to catch up with you
  • You carry guilt, shame, grief, or a heaviness you rarely talk about
  • You want a space where you don’t have to be strong or have it all figured out
  • You’re open to slowing down and exploring your emotions without being rushed
  • You want a therapist who is present, grounded, and comfortable sitting with pain
  • You’re not looking for quick fixes, clichés, or forced silver linings

If you’re longing to feel more alive again—even if you’re scared to hope—you’ll be met with care, understanding, and steadiness here.
