Great to meet you!

Sup! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I have a passion for working with adults who have experienced trauma and/or experience anxiety and depression related to discrimination, poverty, exposure to high rates of violence, incarceration, family dysfunction, gang violence, and those who understand what it means to go against the grain to survive. I've provided mental health services for the past 3yrs including hospital, child welfare, and criminal justice settings.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is direct with a sense of humor. All I ever ask of my peeps is come to each session as you are and be ready to work. Change isn't easy and sometimes we can get in our own way. My approach is to be real with you the same way I ask you to be with me. I won't beat around the bush and you can expect me to challenge you. What I will also do, is work to help you see the strength you've always had. If tough love was a therapeutic approach, that would be my specialty.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a safe space to put down the weight you've been carrying without judgement.
