Great to meet you!

After raising a family and spending nearly 25 years managing global software development teams for Fortune 500 companies, I decided to pursue a second career and a long-time passion of mine: to become a couples and family therapist. After my own journey of self-discovery and navigating difficult personal and professional relationships, I found healing and strength through counseling. I longed to offer the same experience in a safe space that allows for vulnerability and honesty without judgment, and that fosters your personal growth. Such space allows for confidential exploration into self, our family of origin, and other relationships that offer us insight into our own patterns of thought and behavior; empowering our sense of control to make positive changes within ourselves that lead to healthier, happier, and reciprocal relationships.

My approach to therapy

While I use an integrative approach to counseling, I primarily use an attachment-based lens to cultivate a safe environment that promotes vulnerability to transform your relational experiences and one's understanding of self in that relational world.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is centered on building a therapeutic relationship. With you, I like to explore your inner emotional experience, what challenges you are facing, and what kind of transformation you envision for yourself at the end of treatment.
