Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Therapist committed to providing compassionate, person-centered support to individuals navigating life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique goals, values, and lived experience.

I hold a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington, with a Direct Practice specialization in Mental Health and Substance Misuse. My professional background includes work in public health, hospice care, and hospital settings, supporting individuals and families during times of change, illness, grief, and emotional distress.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore concerns, identify strengths, and work toward meaningful goals together.

I tailor therapy to each client’s needs. Sessions may focus on building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, processing difficult experiences, strengthening communication and boundaries, and developing practical strategies for everyday challenges. I use a strengths-based approach that recognizes resilience and encourages sustainable change.

My background includes supporting individuals and families through mental health concerns, substance misuse, chronic illness, grief, loss, and major life transitions. I aim to help clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools that support their well-being both during and beyond therapy.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore what you’d like support with. You don’t need to have everything figured out; we can work through that together. I aim to create a warm, judgment-free space where you feel heard, comfortable, and able to be yourself. Together, we’ll identify goals and begin building a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.
