Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Victoria Hristoff (she/her), a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist and Registered Art Therapist with a background spanning community mental health, the court system, and foster care. I work with adults and adolescents navigating addiction, codependency, and the particular pain of loving someone who struggles with substance use.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, I bring together attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and EMDR for complex and developmental trauma, alongside the unique healing power of art and artmaking. You don't need to be an artist to work with me. Art in therapy is a tool for expression, stress relief, and accessing parts of your experience that words sometimes can't reach. We work with whatever feels useful to you.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy works best when it's collaborative and grounded in genuine respect. You are the expert on your own life, my role is to offer curiosity, support, and a relationship you can trust. I'm attuned to the ways that power operates, both within larger systems and within the therapy room itself, and I take that seriously.
