Great to meet you!

Please book onto my calendar for a free Zoom consult. I would advise this to assure goodness-of-fit or to see if working somatically is for you. The areas I tend to center on the most include trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, family conflict, addiction and grief.

**Keep in mind I am licensed in TEXAS and NEW YORK and I have privileges to practice in 42 PSYPACT STATES. I do not take insurance in PSYPACT STATES.

My approach to therapy

I have 21 years of experience as a licensed psychologist. I have worked in public mental health settings, both in a large community clinic and in private practice. I'm a present-centered therapist using an open and collaborative approach. My work is attachment-based and humanistic. Often, I integrate elements of somatic and experiential therapies such as IFS or “parts work” to help clients tolerate panic, trauma or other difficult emotions. I offer Brainspotting, Deep Brain Reorienting, RRT, somatic experiencing, somatic EMDR, Attachment work as well.

What you can expect from me

I try to deliver relief for my client each session, so they leave feeling better! We focus on your goals and you are in the driver's seat. Warmth, authenticity, support, caring. I am a woman in long-term recovery from alcoholism so I am familiar with 12-step recovery and other forms as well.
