Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Victoria, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing individual psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, social anxiety, and challenges related to overthinking, stress, and relationships. I earned my Master of Social Work from Columbia University, have received training from the Beck Institute and have been in private practice for over 5 years.

Clients often describe me as attentive and easy to talk to. I aim to bring a steady, human presence to therapy, balancing focused attention with warmth and approachability. Many find that I also incorporate moments of humor and levity when it feels supportive, while maintaining a respectful, collaborative space.

Some clients feel overwhelmed by their thoughts and emotions while managing daily responsibilities. They may notice patterns of overthinking, avoidance, self-criticism, or emotional intensity that feel hard to shift, or seek therapy during transitions or when coping strategies stop working.

I have a sex therapy and trauma informed lens and I specialize in anxiety, social anxiety, depression, stress, sleep disorders/insomnia, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, and also support clients with trauma histories, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm.

I am licensed in New York, Florida, and Ohio, and offer virtual sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and skills-based. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) integrated with mindfulness-based strategies.

In our work together, we focus on understanding patterns of thinking, emotion, and behavior as they show up in real time. Therapy is both reflective and practical—we build insight into what’s driving your experiences while also developing concrete tools to help you respond differently.

I often work with clients who tend to overthink, self-criticize, or feel stuck in cycles of anxiety or avoidance. Together, we gently identify these patterns and practice ways to shift them at a pace that feels manageable, yet steady.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we’ll spend time talking through what brings you to therapy and what feels most important right now. I’ll ask questions to better understand your current concerns, relevant history, and what you’ve already tried in terms of coping or support.

Clients can expect a relaxed, conversational tone—there is no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal in the first session is to begin clarifying patterns, identify immediate needs, and collaboratively start thinking about goals for our work together.
