Great to meet you!

Creativity can be another language for what is difficult to say out loud. I'm Victoria, an LCAT and board-certified art therapist working with adolescents (13+) and adults across New York via telehealth. I bring creative arts approaches alongside CBT, DBT-informed skills, and a trauma-informed lens to support clients navigating

anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, substance use, and emotional regulation. No art experience is needed.

My approach to therapy

Sessions start from wherever you are. We work to understand the patterns between your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences, then build practical tools you can use outside of therapy. Creative arts may show up in our work when they feel helpful, not as an assignment, but as another way of exploring what is present. I draw from strengths-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and DBT-informed approaches. As a board-certified art therapist, I may also incorporate creative arts interventions when helpful; however, no artistic experience is required.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental conversation focused on getting to know one another. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant life experiences, and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will also ask questions about your strengths, support system, coping strategies, and any challenges affecting your daily life.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable while beginning to identify your goals and the type of support that may be most helpful. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions about my therapeutic approach and determine whether we are a good fit. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and clearer about what our work together could look like.
