Great to meet you!

I have a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University, bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Westfield State University, and an Addiction Counselor Certificate from Middlesex Community College. I’m also a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor I (LADC I). Since 2017, I’ve worked in inpatient substance use treatment, first as a therapist and now as a Lead Therapist. Working with people during some of the hardest times in their lives has taught me that everyone’s story is different, and there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

My approach to therapy

My style is direct, honest, and supportive. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I’ll listen, challenge you when it’s helpful, and help you focus on practical steps toward the changes you want to make. I also believe humor has a place in therapy when it feels natural. I tailor treatment to your unique needs using an integrative approach that draws from Person-Centered Therapy, CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, MBCT, REBT, and CPT. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way, challenge unhelpful patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring your goals and any challenges you're currently facing. I'll ask questions to better understand your experiences, while providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can share at your own pace. Together, we'll begin developing a plan tailored to your needs so you leave with a clear sense of direction for our work together.
