Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Victoria Taylor, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) based in Atlanta, Georgia. With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals through various challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and self-esteem issues. I hold a Master's degree in Community Counseling from Mercer University, obtained in 2009. My practice encompasses working with diverse populations, including those facing grief and loss, dual diagnosis, and physical challenges. I am committed to providing compassionate and effective therapy to help you navigate life's complexities.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I integrate various evidence-based modalities tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. By combining these approaches, I aim to empower you to develop coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and foster personal growth. My goal is to collaborate with you to identify and achieve your therapeutic objectives, ensuring that our sessions are both meaningful and transformative.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect to gain practical tools and insights that promote healing and personal development. Together, we will work towards reducing symptoms of distress, improving emotional regulation, and enhancing your overall well-being. I strive to create an atmosphere of empathy and understanding, encouraging you to express yourself openly and work through challenges at your own pace. My hope is that you leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped to make positive changes in your life.

I look forward to accompanying you on your journey towards total wellness.
