Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I always felt a calling to help others realize their potential and find their inner peace. As a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina, I work with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, chronic illness, and the strain that comes with relationship and family stress. Change rarely looks the way you expect, and it often starts somewhere surprising. If you've been carrying something for a while and aren't sure where to start, I'd like to help you figure that out.

My approach to therapy

I take a trauma-informed approach, which means I pay attention to how past experiences show up in the present: what the body holds, what the mind avoids, and what gets in the way of feeling okay day to day. Depending on what fits, I draw from EMDR, CBT, ACT, mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused work. My style leans collaborative and strengths-based. I'm less focused on cataloging what's wrong and more interested in building on what you already bring. Sessions can be structured and goal-oriented, or slower and more exploratory. I follow your lead.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you're hoping for, and what kind of support feels right for you. I don't expect you to have everything figured out, but by the end, you should have a clear sense of what working together might look like and whether it feels like the right fit.
