Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Vicki Trause. I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and licensed alcohol and drug counselor (LCADC) with over two decades of dedicated experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges.

This deep, seasoned background allows me to meet clients exactly where they are, offering highly adaptive support tailored to your unique journey.

My approach to therapy

My clinical philosophy is rooted in authenticity, mutual respect, and absolute collaboration. I firmly believe true healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected and valued. My absolute priority is creating a warm, safe and easygoing atmosphere where we can build a strong foundation of trust and comfort together.

I view our time together as a partnership designed to help you discover the internal strengths, tools, and insights necessary to help yourself. I welcome the opportunity to support you in achieving the balance and peace you deserve.

What you can expect from me

It is common to experience a wide range of emotions, both before and after the initial session. The first appointment is designed to establish a foundation of trust and understanding rather than to achieve instant solutions. In our first session you can expect to enter a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental safe space. We will build rapport and discuss treatment goals.
