Great to meet you!

I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Education from The University of Texas at San Antonio and completed my master’s degree in Counseling from The Houston Graduate School of Theology. With seven years of teaching experience and over a decade dedicated to social services, I discovered a true passion for supporting children, families, and individuals navigating emotional challenges.

As a licensed therapist, I am deeply committed to helping clients manage the emotional stressors of life while guiding them toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. I take a multi-faceted, client-centered approach to therapy, drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). This integrative style allows me to support clients facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.

I have extensive experience working in crisis management, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and other complex diagnoses. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to confront challenges, build resilience, and reclaim their sense of well-being.

My approach to therapy

Every person’s story is uniquely their own, and I believe the care you receive should honor that. When we begin working together, my hope is to create a genuine partnership, one rooted in your needs, your goals, and the experiences that have shaped you. It’s deeply important to me that our therapeutic relationship is built on trust, open and honest communication, and a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly seen.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to empower you and help you carry the weight of these difficult emotions. As your therapist, I will hold space for all of these feelings honoring and acknowledging each one alongside you. Gradually, together, we’ll begin to return them to you in a way that feels manageable, so you can start the healing process. Along the way, my hope is to help you build confidence in your own strength and abilities, empowering you to face and overcome the challenges in your life.
