Victoria Waring

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with my MA in Forensic Psych and CASAC. I am licensed in NY NJ and PA and have over 18 years of experience w various populations in substance abuse, MH disorders, and grief and trauma issues. I work w clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, BP and BPD, relationship and anger issues, career challenges, financial problems, and communication issues. I also work with those who have experienced physical or emotional abuse.

My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, motivational interviewing, some dialectical behavioral techniques and rational-emotive counseling. I tend to use the strength perspective with clients and also always tend to be nonjudgmental when working with clients as well. I wish to work with clients to develop their own treatment plan and goals.

I am open to adjust any techniques that you do not feel are working during the sessions. I look forward to working with you and I wish to strengthen and empower you to help you meet your needs.
