My goal as a therapist isn't to "fix" you, it's to know you. To welcome every part of you - the parts you like, don't like, and want to change. To see you through a lens of curiosity, rather than judgement. And to focus on who you are, rather than who you are not.
My approach is grounded in authenticity and collaboration; I don’t just sit back and nod - I show up with you while we untangle the messy and confusing parts of being human.
In our sessions, you can expect a mix of honesty, support, acceptance, and the occasional metaphor that makes things click. Therapy doesn’t have to be heavy all the time - it can be a place where you finally exhale and say, “Ohhh, that’s what’s going on".
Sometimes we’re processing deep feelings and other times we are celebrating small wins - there is always room for both!
In our first session, we will explore your motivating factors for beginning therapy. Some people are ready to let everything out and some need prompting questions. Regardless of which category you fall into, we will get to know one another a bit more and get a general idea of what you are hoping to gain through this experience before moving onto the next steps.
