Great to meet you!

I have over 23 years of experience as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My path into mental health care began with a strong foundation in both medical and community‐based settings. I’ve worked in urgent care, with underserved populations (including those experiencing homelessness), and in family practice before focusing on psychiatric care. I treat adults—and selected children—addressing concerns like anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, depression, PTSD, and more. I combine clinical expertise with a direct, holistic, and solution‐oriented style to support meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is holistic and individualized: I work to differentiate physical, emotional, and mental health needs by reviewing your history and using a variety of assessments. This means we look at you as a whole person—not just a set of symptoms—and tailor treatment accordingly. When appropriate, I integrate evidence‐based therapies like Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) alongside medication management to best support your goals.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, you can expect a warm and thorough conversation aimed at truly understanding your unique situation. We will discuss your concerns, history, and what you hope to get out of treatment. From that foundation, we’ll begin to explore potential treatment options and start shaping a plan that fits your needs. My goal in that first session is to listen deeply, build rapport, and collaboratively plan the next steps in your care.
