Great to meet you!

I am a licensed therapist with two decades of experience helping individuals heal from childhood trauma, abuse, anxiety, and other distressing life experiences. I work with adults and teenagers who are struggling with anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, post-traumatic stress, and unresolved experiences that continue to impact their relationships, work, school, travel, social life, or overall well-being.

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling frustrated because they logically know they are safe, yet their mind and body continue reacting as though danger is still present. My goal is to help them better understand these responses, reduce emotional distress, and regain a greater sense of confidence and control in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change patterns of thinking and behavior that contribute to emotional distress. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process difficult experiences so they no longer feel as emotionally overwhelming or disruptive.

Rather than simply managing symptoms, I work with clients to address the underlying causes of anxiety, fear, avoidance, and trauma-related responses. Together, we develop practical tools and strategies that support lasting change and greater emotional resilience. I tailor treatment to each individual's needs, strengths, and goals, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can move at a pace that feels comfortable for them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic foundation. I will take time to understand your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. Together, we will explore what is bringing you to therapy, identify areas where you would like to see change, and discuss a treatment plan that feels meaningful and achievable.

My goal is to create an environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, panic, trauma, or avoidance, we will work together to help you regain confidence, increase your sense of freedom, and fully participate in the life you want to live.
