Dr. Vilma Garrido Riquenes

I am Dr Vilma G Riquenes.

I am a Florida-licensed mental Health Counselor with a Master's degree in Health Psychology and a Ph.D from the University Autonomus of Barcelona, Spain.

For more than 30 years, I have worked in the Mental Health area with many clients who live in different parts of the world and diverse populations. I have a broad background in the treatment of anxiety, depression, adjustment, eating disorders, and many other disorders, except those included in the psychotic spectrum.

My sessions have fewer available hours because I work intensely and consistently on research projects. I love my profession and am passionate about contributing to the scientific understanding of mental health.

I, singularly take a holistic integrationist and eclectic approach. I focus all my attention on your goals and strengthening yourself. I assist myself with many techniques and procedures corresponding to diverse theoretical approaches.
