Great to meet you!

Hello

My name is Vincent Kinsey, I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have work with various populations' including people with trauma, crisis, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, and PTSD. I have been in private practice for over 20 years. I have a Ph.D. in clinical Psychology. It is my belief that you and I working together can develop and implement coping skills to help manage your life challenges and plot a course for your success.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy involves a thorough assessment of the client and what the client is seeking. This approach empowers the client to become an active participant within the therapeutic process, building upon the client's ultimate goal of healing. In addition, to the client taking a series of small steps, while reinforcing a "Can do" attitude. We will facilitate our sessions based on your speed and your needs you are in charge.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal in therapy is to help clients manage their maladaptive thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Initially, building rapport, and actively listening to the client. Life can seem overwhelming and difficult to navigate, especially when you’re alone without a support system or the proper coping skills to alleviate life stressors. I take an active role in helping individuals learn how to self-manage.
