Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and finding someone you feel comfortable with matters. I strive to create a warm, judgment-free space where you can be yourself, feel understood, and talk openly about what’s going on in your life.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), license #81749, with a Master of Science in Counseling (M.S.) from Texas Woman’s University and additional degrees from the University of North Texas. With over 10 years of experience in mental health, I work exclusively with adults age 18 and older, supporting clients experiencing:

• Anxiety & social anxiety • Depression • Panic disorder • Self-esteem & confidence concerns • Life transitions & personal growth • Career & life direction • Relationship challenges • Stress & burnout

My approach is person-centered and draws from CBT, DBT, and existential perspectives. I help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, recognize patterns that may be holding them back, and build confidence in moving forward.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy film, music, reading, travel, and video games. I’m also a proud cat dad. I enjoy getting to know the unique experiences and interests that make each person who they are.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be happy to work alongside you toward greater clarity, confidence, and fulfillment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered, collaborative, and focused on helping you feel understood and comfortable being yourself. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without judgment.

I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and existential perspectives, tailoring these approaches to your individual needs and goals. Together, we can identify patterns that may be holding you back, develop practical coping skills, and build greater self-awareness, confidence, and clarity about the direction you want your life to take.

Most importantly, I see therapy as a collaborative process. You know yourself best, and my role is to support you, offer perspective and tools, and work alongside you as you create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

For your profile, I’d make this reassuring and conversational so clients know the first session isn’t about having everything figured out.

In our first session, we’ll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, what you’d like to work on, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the process and explain how I typically work.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood from the beginning. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to start—we can take it one step at a time and work together to identify what feels most important to you.
