Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Vincenzo, but most people call me Vince! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with LGBTQ+ men, specifically with gay, bisexual, transgender, and other sexually diverse men. As a gay, first generation Italian-American myself, I understand that identity is rarely just one thing. Our families, culture, relationships, and experiences all play a role in how we see ourselves and connect with the people around us.

A lot of my work focuses on identity, relationships and dating, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and figuring out how past experiences may still be showing up in your life today. Sometimes you know exactly what you want to talk about, and sometimes all you know is that something feels off. Either is completely okay. You don't need to have everything figured out before you log on. We can figure out where to start together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, conversational, and tailored to you. I want to understand not only what is happening in your life now, but also the experiences that helped shape how you think, feel, and connect with others. Together, we might challenge unhelpful thoughts, separate facts from assumptions, explore patterns in your relationships, connect past experiences to what is happening today, and build practical coping skills you can actually use outside of therapy. I also believe therapy does not always have to feel so clinical. There is room for humor, creativity, and simply being human while still doing meaningful work.

What you can expect from me

You can expect me to be warm, honest, and actively involved in our sessions. I will support and validate you, but I am also not afraid to challenge you, ask difficult questions, or point out patterns that may be getting in your way. Together, we will look at what is within your control, recognize your strengths, and find practical ways to move forward. I am not here to tell you what to do or make decisions for you. My role is to help you understand yourself more clearly, explore your options, and feel more confident making choices that feel right for you.
