Great to meet you!

Hello! It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Vincenzo and I graduated with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling back in 2023 from Southern New Hampshire University, and became a Licensed Professional Counselor. I love the variety of clients I get to work with, and from the ones I have worked with so far, things like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and OCD have been the most common matters I have handled. Even with that in mind however, I love to challenge myself and learn new things, so I can assist the widest scope of people as possible.

My approach to therapy

I am more casual and humanistic, but even so, one of my greatest strengths is "matching the energy" of my clients. I like to show clients that everyone has limitless potential, and that they are stronger than they may know. Regardless of what strategy I may use to assist you, I like to base all of my strategies behind some psychoeducation, using easily graspable terms to teach clients not only about the strategies, but how they specifically affect the brain as well. Knowing is half the battle after all.

What you can expect from me

Mental health treatment can be a daunting thing for anyone, and I like to try and break the mold behind some stigmas behind how apprehensive clients may view therapists. I am not some "shrink" that is there to "fix" a client, or diagnose to make a client feel like they are "crazy", I am simply someone that wants to help and guide someone in their goals so they're even happier in life. In a first session, I like to utilize something called the "Miracle Question" to set a good baseline where I ask a client what their ideal life looks like, and set goals around that to help them get to that destination.
