Great to meet you!
With over 20 years of experience in education and counseling, I bring a warm, empowering, and nonjudgmental approach to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. My journey began at Grambling State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Chemistry, but my true calling led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.
Throughout my career as a school counselor and licensed professional counselor, I have dedicated myself to supporting adolescents and women through life transitions, emotional struggles, and personal growth. I work with individuals ages 13 and up, with a strong focus on adolescent development, women’s empowerment, and building resilience through life’s difficulties.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and compassionate connection. I am trained in:
- Gottman Level 1 for couples seeking stronger, more connected relationships
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Trauma-Informed and Resilience-Focused Care
Clients describe me as someone who challenges them with care, meets them where they are emotionally, and creates a safe, judgment-free space to grow and heal. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, or identity development, I’m here to walk alongside you as a guide and advocate for your healing and transformation.
Together, we’ll work not only to understand your story, but to rewrite it in a way that centers your strength, voice, and vision for the life you want.
