Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia and have extensive experience working with adults, parents, and families.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, and difficulties related to parenting. I am especially interested in helping people understand how their relationships, families, identities, and broader life experiences shape their well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you can better understand what you are experiencing while developing practical strategies for meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, warm, and evidence-based. I primarily draw from cognitive behavioral and behavioral approaches while adapting treatment to each person’s needs, strengths, values, and circumstances.

Therapy with me involves both understanding the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and identifying concrete ways to create change. Depending on your goals, we may explore connections among your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and environment; develop new coping or communication skills; or work toward changing patterns that are no longer serving you. I value openness and authenticity and want therapy to feel like something we are doing together rather than something being done to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you and for you to decide whether I feel like a good fit for you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, what you would like to be different, and any important experiences or relationships that may help me understand your concerns.

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are. We can identify them together and begin developing a treatment plan that fits your needs. I strive to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly, ask questions, and move at a pace that feels manageable.
